Chef Roberto Bellitti


Italy-born Executive Chef Roberto Bellitti has a wealth of experience in helming kitchen brigades and managing hotel restaurants.

Chef Roberto Bellitti’s career started in the kitchen of a small family-run restaurant and took a turn for the best as he joined the kitchen brigade at the Michelin-starred Galvin at Mindows restaurant at the London Hilton on Park Lane and perfected his craft in French Haute Cuisine. He then opened a restaurant in his native Italy, the EFF Cucina e Stagioni in Milan which is renowned for its creative and innovative fine dining menu and for winning a place on the “Best New Restaurants in Milan” list for 2011 only three months after its opening. Chef Roberto took on the opening of the very first Luce Restaurant in Asia, in Bangkok, that is part of the branded dining concept coined by the Frescobaldi family which featured two restaurants in San Francisco and Moscow. After a short interlude with Singapore Sodexo, Chef Roberto became Executive Chef at the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket before taking part in the pre-opening of the Manathai Resort in Koh Samui and subsequently joining Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui as Executive Chef.

Chef Roberto excels in designing creative dishes with a strong emphasis on local and seasonal produce.
